EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
ANKARA, TÜRKiYE
My 6-month long exchange at Bilkent University was one of the most memorable parts of my youth. I not only explored Ankara, but my travels took me on 6-hour bus rides to neighbouring cities like Istanbul, the çok güzel (gorgeous), jaw-dropping Kapadokya, & small towns rich with local culture.
These are some of my favourite snapshots, but frankly speaking, if you'd love to see more, I'd be happy to share the other 728 photos hehe...!

LANGUAGE IMMERSION
ALICANTE, SPAIN
I went on a month-long immersion programme at the University of Alicante, Spain where I earned my A1+ certificate. These pictures are of me & some of the friends I made along the way!
SNAPSHOTS IN EUROPE
May of '22 was the first time I travelled out of Singapore since the pandemic hit. My goal was to capture the everyday people in France and Switzerland– a glimpse of their lives.
Life in Europe felt different. Unlike in Singapore, masks were no longer mandatory, and it seemed as if for the 17 days there, that COVID-19 was finally gone.
SUN-DAC
Through my internship at SUN-DAC, a day activity centre for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), I had the wonderful opportunity to befriend and interact with beneficiaries. I found myself constantly drawn to capturing moments of joy & exuberance during special events, & felt even more touched when clients would automatically pose when they saw me coming.
I am grateful for such a meaningful experience, & am hopeful to improve advocacy for the PwDs in our community.
